Funing County Landfill Leachate Treatment Technical Upgrade and Improvement Project

访问量:186

Project Overview

  • The Funing County Landfill Leachate Treatment Technical Upgrade and Improvement Project is designed to optimize processes and upgrade equipment for the existing leachate treatment facilities, primarily addressing issues such as insufficient treatment capacity, inadequate effluent stability, and high operation and maintenance costs, ensuring the safe and complete disposal of all leachate.
  • The project is designed with a wastewater treatment capacity of 150 m³/d, and the technical upgrade and improvement work has now been fully completed.
  • Landfill leachate contains extremely high concentrations of pollutants, including organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, salts, and heavy metals, with complex water quality.

Key Technical Challenges

  • The landfill has been in operation for approximately 13 years and is classified as a mature landfill. The leachate is characterized by high ammonia nitrogen, high concentrations of refractory organics, and a low B/C ratio, resulting in extremely poor water quality that is difficult to treat.
  • The simultaneous removal of high ammonia nitrogen, high total nitrogen, and high concentrations of refractory organics presents significant challenges, imposing stringent requirements on the denitrification process and advanced treatment units.

Process Flow
Landfill leachate → Equalization Tank → Primary Denitrification/Nitrification Tank → Secondary Denitrification/Nitrification Tank → External Ultrafiltration (UF) → Nanofiltration (NF) → Reverse Osmosis (RO) → Compliant Discharge
