Project Overview
- Located in the Chenjiagang Chemical Industrial Park, Xiangshui County, the company is a private technology-driven enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of fine chemicals, with independent import and export rights. Its core product portfolio covers three major series—bromine, hydrogenation, and chlorination—comprising over 60 fine chemical products with an annual production capacity exceeding 20,000 tons. These products are widely used in pharmaceuticals, pesticides, dyes, electronic chemicals, and other industries.
- The project is designed with a wastewater treatment capacity of 60 m³/d, with equipment installation and commissioning now completed.
Key Technical Challenges
- The wastewater primarily originates from bromination, hydrogenation, and chlorination processes in fine chemical production.
- It contains high concentrations of halogenated organics, anilines, volatile phenols, salts, COD, and ammonia nitrogen, classifying it as a refractory, high-salinity, toxic, and hazardous chemical wastewater stream.
- Intermittent production and frequent product changeovers cause pulsed fluctuations in both water quality and flow rate, making it impossible for a single treatment process to ensure consistent compliance.
Process Flow
- High-salinity wastewater: High-salinity wastewater → Three-Effect Evaporation Desalination System → Collection Tank
- Phenolic-containing wastewater:Collection Tank (including desalinated wastewater) → Electrochemical Unit → Electro-flotation Separator → Comprehensive Equalization Tank
- Other low-concentration wastewater:Other low-concentration wastewater → Comprehensive Equalization Tank
- Combined wastewater: Comprehensive Equalization Tank → Hydrolysis Acidification Tank → Aerobic Tank → Secondary Sedimentation Tank → Clear Water Tank → Industrial Park WWTP
