Project Overview
- Established in 2007 and located in Yandu District, Yancheng City, the company is a small private enterprise specializing in high-grade special aquatic extruded feed, with a core product portfolio covering feeds for shrimp and crab, marine fish, yellow catfish, snakehead, and frogs.
- The project is designed with a treatment capacity of 10 m³/d and has now been fully completed.
- The wastewater primarily originates from raw material washing, production equipment rinsing, and workshop floor cleaning, containing substantial amounts of feed debris, protein residues, and starch, with high concentrations of COD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and suspended solids.
Key Technical Challenges
- The efficiency of pretreatment solids removal directly affects the stable operation of subsequent biological and advanced treatment processes.
- High ammonia nitrogen and high organic loading impose stringent requirements on the denitrification process, necessitating precise control of anoxic and aerobic conditions to prevent non-compliant effluent ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen levels.
