Project Overview
- Located in the Xiangshui Economic Development Zone, the company specializes in deep processing of fruits and vegetables through extraction and food production, with its own built-in wastewater treatment station. The wastewater is pretreated on-site before being discharged to the centralized treatment facility in the industrial park.
- The project is designed with a treatment capacity of 100 m³/d and has now been fully completed.
- The wastewater originates from the deep processing of fruits, vegetables, grains, and agricultural by-products. It is characterized by high suspended solids and is prone to fermentation and acidification, carrying impurities such as fruit peel residues and sediment. With high concentrations of organic matter, starch, sugars, and proteins, the wastewater exhibits good biodegradability.
Key Technical Challenges
- The wastewater is susceptible to acidification and odor generation, with frequent pH fluctuations.
- Enhanced physicochemical pretreatment must be implemented at the front end to thoroughly remove suspended solids, residues, and oils and fats, thereby protecting the downstream biological treatment system.
- The core treatment employs the A²/O integrated process to efficiently degrade high-strength organic pollutants while achieving simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
