Yancheng City Wastewater Treatment Plant Waste Gas Treatment System Project

访问量:186

Project Overview

  • A wastewater treatment plant in Yancheng City is a key water pollution prevention and control project for the Huaihe River and Yangtze River basins, with a total designed capacity of 150,000 m³/d, serving an area of approximately 56.7 km² in the southern urban district.
  • Waste Gas Treatment Capacity: 26,000 m³/h
  • The waste gas from the wastewater treatment plant primarily originates from the coarse and fine bar screens, aerated grit chambers, biological tanks, sludge dewatering units, and sludge storage sheds. The main components include hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methyl mercaptan, and volatile organic acids, characterized by pronounced odors, strong irritancy, and extremely low odor threshold values.

Key Technical Challenges

  • The odor sources are widely dispersed, and pollutants such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and methyl mercaptan have extremely low odor threshold values, presenting considerable challenges for compliant odor removal and odor control.
  • Waste gas flow rates and concentrations fluctuate significantly with seasonal changes and operating conditions.
