Project Overview
- Located in the Yancheng High-Tech Zone, the company is a high-tech enterprise specializing in optical filters. Its core products include blue glass IR-cut filters and heart rate monitoring sensors, with core technologies covering precision polishing, coating, and spin-coating. The company supplies to leading brands including Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung, with an annual production capacity exceeding 14 million filters upon full operation.
- The project is designed with a wastewater treatment capacity of 400 m³/d, with equipment installation and commissioning now completed.
- The wastewater primarily originates from optical glass cleaning, grinding and polishing, coating, and developing and etching processes, containing fluoride ions, suspended solids, trace heavy metals, and organic cleaning agents, with fluctuating pH levels.
Key Technical Challenges
- High fluoride content necessitates targeted enhancement of the pretreatment process to ensure final effluent fluoride levels meet discharge standards.
- Significant fluctuations in both water quality and flow rate demand high process stability and reliability.
- Organic cleaning agent wastewater is a common high-strength stream; a high-efficiency biological treatment unit can be incorporated to enhance organic pollutant removal.
Process Flow
- Production wastewater: Comprehensive Equalization Tank → Primary Fluoride Removal Sedimentation Tank → Secondary Fluoride Removal Sedimentation Tank → Electrocoagulation Sedimentation Tank → Biological Equalization Tank
- Domestic sewage and other low-concentration wastewater: Domestic sewage → Biological Equalization Tank
- Combined wastewater: Biological Equalization Tank → Anaerobic Reactor → Facultative Tank → Aerobic Tank → Secondary Sedimentation Tank → Standardized Discharge Outlet → Industrial Park WWTP
