The system operates on the principle of using rapidly flowing water within a siphon tube to draw air out of the main pipeline, creating a partial vacuum. Under the influence of atmospheric pressure, water from the holding tank is then drawn into the main pipeline and discharged into the treatment tank.
Due to the high flow velocity, the distribution is completed in a short time, achieving a pulsed effect. This pulse action agitates the sludge at the bottom of the tank, promoting thorough mixing with the wastewater and ensuring sufficient contact between anaerobic microorganisms and the organic pollutants in the water.
