Characteristics of Kitchen Wastewater:
1. High organic content: The organic matter concentration in the wastewater exceeds tens of thousands of milligrams per liter.
2. High moisture content: Water content can reach 80%–95%.
3. Rich in various trace elements: Includes nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and calcium, among others. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus can reach several thousand and several hundred milligrams per liter, respectively.
4. Prone to the growth of mycotoxins, pathogenic bacteria, and pathogenic microorganisms.
5. Rich in proteins, cellulose, and starch, with good biodegradability.
6. Abundant in oils and fats, including both animal and vegetable oils. In wastewater, these fats exist as dissolved oil, emulsions, and suspensions.
7. Does not contain toxic substances.
The designed treatment capacity for this project is 15 m³/d, with a maximum capacity of 19 m³/d (COD 100,000 mg/L), based on a 24-hour operation period.
Process flow:
Wastewater → Equalization tank → CSTR anaerobic reactor → Fluidized anaerobic reactor → Anoxic tank → Contact oxidation tank → MBR tank → Coagulation and clarification tank→ Discharge after meeting standards
